Jewelry Sample SALES All Week Long

If you're not already a member of Gilt Groupe, you'll want to register so you can access the wonderful jewelry sales events going on this week.  Here's more on the collections.

GRAYCE BY MOLLY SIMS
With a career spent in front of cameras and on the runway, supermodel Molly Sims is no stranger to being bedecked in first-class jewelry — and she’s turned her years of experience into her latest design venture. Sims’ unique look and penchant for mixing and matching shine through in Grayce, her collection of colorful necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings. Her bright baubles are eye-catching enough for a solo show — check out the fuchsia stone centered between 14k gold multi-strand chains — but play nice with each other, too: Try pairing her metal braided bracelets with an oversize cocktail ring for a runway-worthy look that’s all your own.

The Grayce by Molly Sims Jewelry Sale is live now and ends 7/7/10 @ 11PM CDT

LAGOS JEWELRY
A wide variety of gems makes its way from Old City Philadelphia to you via this sale. Black agate makes special alluring appearances, on its own in necklaces and paired with diamonds in rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets. The designs range from simply stunning (a gold knot necklace) to unmissably brash (the Washington Square diamond ring), and all of it comes from Lagos’s state-of-the-art atelier in Philadelphia.

The Lagos Jewelry Sale is live now and ends 7/8/10 @ 11 AM CT

ROBERT WANDER JEWELRY
When it comes to fine jewelry, there are pieces that add a little sparkle, and then there are the magnificent, jaw-dropping masterworks like those by Robert Wander. His one-of-a-kind Byzantine designs combine large, rough-cut crystals like green beryl and watermelon tourmaline with delicate, precious stones. Pendants dangle from twisted silk chords that echo the jewels’ candied hues, and settings — which are some of Wander’s most intriguing details — range from heavily paveed bezels to filigreed branches and vines.

This sale is an embarrassment of riches, with sumptuous pieces galore from the consistently ingenious jeweler Robert Wander. His penchant for color-drenched stones and elaborate settings shines through in each of these nearly 50 pieces: A purple tourmaline pendant looks like a stained-glass window, and several of his Crystal Candy rings turn the setting into a Byzantine pedestal for the beautiful stones. Or keep things (relatively) simple with Wander’s South Sea pearl cufflinks.

NICOLE MILLER JEWELRY
Remaining independent has been more than a business strategy for Nicole Miller, who has the rare distinction in the fashion world of co-owning her own company. It has also given her the freedom to establish herself as one of the most trusted names in women’s fashion. Stints at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne taught Miller many things, especially the art of devising silhouettes that do right by women’s bodies. Her combination of elegance and daring, coupled with her strong eye for new fabrics and her facility in classical technique, have caught the attention of Beyoncé, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and dozens of other red-carpet regulars.

Nicole Miller’s take on fashion jewelry is a brilliant one to say the least. These stylish pieces feature faceted crystals, twisted chains and beaded sunbursts, in iterations that range from subtle stiletto earrings to beyond-striking bib necklaces.

LESLIE DANZIS JEWELRY
Style smarties would be wise to heed the words of Diana Vreeland: “Put on one more accessory before leaving the house.” Okay, maybe it was the other way around, but she must not have been talking about Leslie Danzis’ jewelry. From drapey chainmail to ’80s-inspired shots of high-gloss color, these necklaces, earrings and bracelets make a girl want to go layer-crazy (and — gasp! — defy Vreeland). This jewelry is guaranteed to turn a minimalist into a maximalist.

The “less is more” style philosophy certainly has a time and place … but it’s not at this jewelry sale. In the case of designer Leslie Danzis, from her chunky chain-mail cuffs to her candy-colored bib necklaces, more is definitely more. Turn heads in Danzis’ Color Burst ring, a 14k-gold-plated brass stretch ring with multi-colored crystals that give the appearance of a Technicolor sea urchin. And check out the crystal-stone necklace, a rhodium-plated metal necklace with hanging lucite square pendants.
