What a night! Did you watch the 66th Annual Golden Globes Awards? If so, you saw a much simpler elegance than we've seen in years at the award's show last night. I have so much to talk about and I'm scrambling to find you the best photos to get the best looks at gowns, beauty, jewelry and more.
Standout winning look of the evening for me - Drew Barrymore!
Drew rocked this look with her retro-Marilyn Monroe, blonde bombshell personna. Dressed in an off-the-shoulder, soft grey-blue John Galliano for Dior gown accesorized with a ravishing red satin Roger Vivier clutch, she is simply scrumptious. I love that muted pink lippie (anyone know which it is?) and those knockout, dangling earrings too!
Other knockout beauties
Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta, Eva Mendes in Dior, January Jones in Versace, Kate Winslet in Yves Saint Laurent, Olivia Wilde in Reem Acra and Taraji P. Henson in J. Mendel. None of these photos really do these dresses justice - they are gorgeous!
Another hit of the evening - statement jewelry. Oh my goodness, the pieces these ladies had on are absolutely stunning. The starlets played it right, though, opting generally for one jaw-dropping piece and understated jewels elsewhere. Here are some highlights.
