MAC SS09 Hydraluminous Looks

MAC Spring/Summer 2009 Hydraluminous is play on light, minimal without being austere, it's texture that takes the lead above color. it's pearl highlight, abundant gloss with consideration on where it is applied - cheeks, lids, brows. The bare essentials for the look are MAC Strobe Cream, Clear Brow Set, Gloss, Coal Black Pro Lash Mascara and Bare Slimshine.

THE UNBARE LIP
Perfect the lip with a neutral lip pencil, such as Oak or Subculture, if necessary. Use Slimshine in Bare to create a soft, nude emollient lip. Finish by using 242 Shader Brush to apply Clear Lipglass over Bare for a super, high-shine effect.

LUMINOUSLY RICH
Use a firm brush, such as 252 Shader Brush, to blend Antiqued Gold Cream Colour Base over the eyelid, through the crease, up to the browbone. Follow up by blending All That Glitters Eye Shadow over Antiqued Gold to create a luminescent finish over eyes. Groom brows with Clear Brow Set for a polished effect.

BARE & GLOSSY
Groom brows with brow set in Girl Boy to add a warmth and subtle shine. Use a lash curler to open up eyes first before applying a generous coat of Coal Black Pro Lash Mascara. Finish by using 252 Shader Brush to apply a thin layer of Gloss over the eyelid for a sophisticated, but high powered shine.

GLOSS ON GLOSS
Hydrate skin with Strobe Cream for a soft luminescent sheen on skin. Use clean fingers with a neutral Blushcreme, such as Ladyblush or Uncommon, to apply a soft contour on cheeks. Apply a generous coat of Plush Glass in Ample Pink to moisturize and plump the lips, while boosting the natural rosy color as well.
