Calling All New Yorkers for a Special Event to Aid Bottomless Closet

Game Night, Ladies and Gents!

As many of you know, Bottomless Closet helps disadvantaged New York City women become self-sufficient through a comprehensive program that begins with business attire and interview preparation and continues with professional development, financial management and personal enrichment. Using the model of women helping women and a network of dedicated volunteers, Bottomless Closet enhances clients’ self-esteem and self-confidence in order for them to enter and succeed in the workforce and improve the quality of their lives.  Oh how I wish we had a Bottomless Closet here in N'awlins!

Here's the scoop on a win-win-win event (you, the organization and the women it helps):

Next weekend - June 27, 2010

In collaboration with the New York Liberty, they will host a unique women’s 9+ Size Shoe Drive at Madison Square Garden during their game against rivals Connecticut Sun. Larger size shoes are always in need for the clients they serve, and this is one way to help and have fun at the same time!

The New York Liberty Women's Basketball Team has been a remarkable supporter of Bottomless Closet. and they're starting their 2010 season with this amazing event!
Liberty is selling reduced price tickets (available through the link below). A portion of the income from these tickets sales will be donated to Bottomless Closet. The proceeds will be presented to them during the fourth quarter of the game so hope many of you can come out and support them and the Liberty!!

Liberty vs Connecticut Sun 06/27/10 @ 4:00 PM

Reduced Price Code is BCLOSE

  1. This is definitely a worthy cause. Even trying to buy shoes over a 9 can be difficult.

I'm not a big shoe person but I am a New Yorker so I definitely support the cause!

  2. Thanks so much. I appreciate your support as I know Bottomless Closet does as well. Such a worthy cause! xo
