Tarte for Abaeté Fall 2009

Tarte was the makeup for Abaeté’s Fall 2009 Fashion show, which took place at The Altman Building in New York on Friday, February 13, 2009. Abaeté’s Laura Poretzky was inspired by Les Incroyables, a group of gentlemen who formed in the 18th Century after the French Revolution.

Beauty.com celebrity makeup artist Tina Turnbow used this inspiration to create an “old world masculinity meets modern day femme” makeup look for the show. It was all about a monochromatic, dewy complexion with a touch of color. The eyes had a hint of gloss and the lips were slightly rose. Tina was able to achieve the look with several tarte complexion products such as Smooth Operator Oil-Free Natural Foundation with SPF 20 and The Eraser 4-in-1 Natural Concealer.

Tarte products are available from them directly online and Beauty.com.
