REVIEW: La Mer SPF 30 UV Protecting Fluid

Introducing La Mer The SPF 30 UV Protecting Fluid - it's all about The Light

La Mer founder, Dr. Max Huber, and his labs have engineered a formula that harnesses the power of light in a daily hydrating sunscreen. The SPF 30 UV Protecting Fluid provides broad spectrum UVA/ UVB protection as well as an array of visible light-transformation benefits.

The Protecting Fluid uses gemstones to enhance the formula’s anti-oxidant activity. Semi-precious tourmaline and Brazilian malachite capture light energy and then transform it into beneficial green light to boost the Fluid’s powerful anti-oxidants. The SPF 30 UV Protecting Fluid helps protect skin against damage with sunscreen while its Hollow Photonic Spheres create a flattering light effect that helps the skin appear more luminous and radiant.

The SPF 30 UV Protecting Fluid utilizes smart seaweeds to keep skin comfortable, hydrated and soothed. These natural humectants attract moisture to the skin and create a protective, emollient barrier, helping to prevent dehydration.

Luxurious and lightweight to the touch, the transparent formula is an ideal makeup primer, providing a smooth, flawless finish as it conditions and helps protect skin. A daily broad-spectrum sun protector, The SPF 30 UV Protecting Fluid helps shield skin from damaging UVA/UVB rays while providing optimal treatment benefits.

REVIEW:

Oh my gosh is this a winner! The lightweight, pale green fluid absorbs effortlessly into skin providing sun protection as well as hydration. The look is radiant. The smooth finish does allow foundation and other makeup to be applied easily, so in that respect it makes an excellent primer. It's not at all greasy - just fresh and hydrating. Skin is left glowing, smooth and protected.

La Mer's The SPF 30 UV Protecting Fluid is available in a 1.7 oz. bottle and retails for $65. You'll find it at select Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and online at lamer.com
