"Über-partying, über-glamour" was McQueen's theme.
The shapes are sexy and form-fitting, with distinctive color-blocking, often in muted shades, with hints of neon brights against black.The designer also developed a new, labor-intensive smoke motif that began as a smoky pattern on silk jacquard trenchcoats, then continued as tromp l’oeil embroidery on shirts and pants and finally turned into a print on a T-shirt.
