I am so hooked on lipglosses but they have to offer something and wow! These seem to offer it all. I like great taste and smell but above all they have to benefit my dry lips - dry in the summer and the winter so I love treating them to helpful but pretty glosses!
ReplyDeleteA lipgloss has to be non-sticky. I like the sound of "vanilla scent" in these ones too.
ReplyDeleteThose are so gorgeous! I love lipglosses and have no Tarte ANYTHING! What an awesome treat it would be to have such a gorgeous set to try them! :)
ReplyDeletei'm always looking for the HG lipgloss which will be sandy pink, no sparkles, just slightly transparent.. must have a pleasing scent and mild taste or no taste. not too sticky but enough to stick around for more than 5 minutes. some pigment to last for a while between applications.
ReplyDeleteI'm a lipgloss addict and these look adorable! I love that I can carry 2 colors in one so I don't further clutter my mu bag
ReplyDeleteYAY a giveaway! I love wearing lipgloss and would love to try this brand!
ReplyDeleteThanks for making a great giveaway!
amazing hues.. i love a lip gloss that isn't too sticky, has a high shine factor and is moiturizing. i'm a gloss fanatic!
ReplyDeleteI like a lip gloss that will actually be the color on my lips that it shows as in the tube. I also like high shine with minimal stickiness. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love lip glosses that are shiny, not too sticky, and make my lips look like Angelina Jolie's. (Well, kind of ;). I love the fact tarte is putting lots of "good for you" goodies in their lip glosses as well! :)
ReplyDeleteI like my lipgloss like I like my men - they have to have it all! I've been with many lipglosses and while I have not found the right one yet, I've learned a few valuable lessons about what it takes to be my partner in shine.
ReplyDeleteLet's be honest, as vain as it sounds visual appeal seals the deal. A good lipgloss has to have a wide variety of colors to fit every skin tone and occasion. It doesn't matter if a gloss can increase your lips a cup size or make them slick as a car salesman if the colors are straight out of Club Libby Lu. Frosty pink fused with chunks of craft store glitter is worse than being asked out by the guy who needs an occasion to shower.
After some eye candy catches your eye, it's time for some immediate payoff. You know when a gloss is worth taking home with you. You put it on and immediately your lips are hydrated, smooth, shiny, and supple. Brownie points for subtle characteristics such as a non-offensive smell, appealing flavor, soothing sensation, and mild plumping action. No matter how pretty the colors are, it's time to kick a gloss to curb if you put it on and your lips dry out, burn, or look like you stuck them in a vacuum nozzle. It's hard to admit when you've been suckered in by a pretty player, but cut ties with all the lies if your gloss isn't everything you hoped it would be.
Finally, it's time to take that budding relationship to the next level. For me, it's not enough for a gloss to provide instant satisfaction - I need a deeper connection. I want my gloss to do things for me even when we aren't together. I want my lips to feel soft and hydrated even when I'm not wearing gloss. I'm even willing to commit for life to the gloss who can keep my lips looking young and supple tube after tube, year after year. There might be a million glosses on the shelves, but I haven't found a keeper yet.
While the right gloss has eluded me in the past, I keep an open mind about the future. The picture of the Tarte glosses drew me in hook, line, and sinker! Cute packaging, adorable starfish case, beautiful colors... *sigh* The glosses also sound anything but superficial. I'd love to give these glosses a chance, and hope they'll pick me too.
What I look for in a lip gloss? Er, SPF and good-for-you ingredients; true colour with just enough pigment [without being overbearing]; and travel friendly packaging! I don't mind scent or taste in a gloss, as long as its not...you know...icky. And I'm not too fond of doe foot applicators. Don't get me wrong, they're neat and all; but I have a huge mouth, so a lip brush applicator is a lot more efficient!

A lipgloss for me has to be not too sticky and not too greasy. It's also great that they come with good for you ingredients now blended into the formulas. Love that about these Tarte glosses. Good color pay off is a must, and not too strong a scent if there is any.
ReplyDeleteI'm addicted to lip glosses & balms, I keep them all over the house, my car, handbag, etc. I don't like anything sticky or sickening sweet. A little color is a bonus!
ReplyDeletenot too sticky

ReplyDeleteLipgloss can not be so sticky that it turns gunky.
ReplyDeleteIt's got to smell great. Lipgloss is a treat.
ReplyDeleteMmm, what DOESN'T appeal to me about lipgloss? My constant staple and one true love, I need my lipgloss to be shimmery, sticky, and sexy.
ReplyDeleteThe number one draw is taste and smell: next is SPF and moisturization, plus it can't be sticky. I like that these have two colors and I love my Tarte cheek stain!
ReplyDeleteI love the lipglosses that moisturize your lips!
ReplyDeleteSticky lip gloss is a no no! Lip gloss with just a splash of color is a great thing.
ReplyDeleteI prefer lipgloss that has a shine, but isn't sticky or dries out your lips. Flavored lip balms and glosses are usually my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love a lipgloss with staying power.
ReplyDeletei love lipglosses because they taste so good when i lick my lips. plus they go on so silky smooth.
ReplyDeleteIt absolutely must NOT be sticky! It has to have a fresh (not mediciny or makeupy)scent and it needs to have a slight sparkle to it.

It must not be sticky
ReplyDeleteLip gloss is the one beauty item that I never ever leave the house without! A lip gloss shouldn't be goopy, but should be smooth and above all, beneficial to my lips (which from the sound of this product does with its added superfruits).

The thing that appeals to me most about a lipgloss is its taste. This is a great giveaway and I really hope I win. Thanks.
ReplyDeletethe smell is really important to me, since it's right under your nose, it also has to glimmer!
