REVIEW: L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist

Loreal Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self Tanning Mist Spray, Medium Natural Tan - 4.2 Oz

The Claims
  • Gives you professional tanning results without the tanning bed
  • Medium natural tan
  • 360° continuous spray
  • Ultra-even application
  • No rub - quick dry
  • Streak-free

What I like:

  • Light mist does indeed dry quickly
  • Fresh smelling, not that regular self-tanning product smell
  • It DOES produce results, you WILL achieve color with this product
  • The price is right at about $8 - $9 a can
  • It's lasting a long time on me (over a week) without re-application
  • If not over-sprayed, you can achieve a less-than-orange result but it's not easy

What I don't like:

  • If you miss a spot with the spray, it's going to show!
  • Definitely NOT tanning bed results in terms of color
  • It requires a very light misting as too much will render you an unattractive orange-y shade
  • Since the mist is clear and dries quickly, it's a bit difficult to tell what parts you've sprayed and what parts you haven't, so can easily wind up with uneven color tone

Overall, I'd give it a 5 out of 10 stars.
For the BEST self-tanning experience, I still highly recomment the St. Tropez Self-Tanning System. Available at beauty.com and Sephora

L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Pro Perfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist may be purchased at drugstores and at online retailers.

  1. I couldn't agree more with your review. I had a similar experience. The mist missing rather drove me nuts.

  2. Hiya Tink,

Yep ... gave it a second try after writing the review and I'm even more convinced this product just isn't for me. I can get used to the mist (although awkward in application) but I just don't like the color. xo
