Have you heard of this? Concierge service, AKA personal assistant on an as needed basis - kind of, though I doubt they may want to think of themselves with that terminology, is a growing trend in today's fast-paced, do-it-all society. Kristen Lyons, the woman behind Bella Concierge, spent 12 years managing advertising clients and knows how to keep people organized.
What will she do? Lots of things it turns out. Planning a remodel or house project? She can supply furniture, accessories and window coverings, arrange for vendor bids and proposals and be there to coordinate deliveries and installations. Need extra hours and don't have time for daily errands? She'll do your grocery shopping, personal and business, and house wares shopping for you. Need to get out of town for the weekend? She'll plan everything from transportation to lodging, dinner, spa treatments, and outings. She can secure tickets to your favorite events - concerts, theater, sporting events, movies, etc. She'll do your special event/holiday shopping, gift wrapping and delivery/shipping. She'll help you throw a cocktail party, wedding reception, retirement party, or other special event, do all the planning, take care of invitations, ordering the cake and flowers at your specifications, have your dry cleaning done, and more. Windows? Nah ... but she will find the best cleaner for the job.
Lyons, as with many other like services, charges an hourly fee. Bella Concierge services the San Francisco and surrounding areas. For more information or to get in touch with Kristen, go to Bella Concierge (415-298-2335).
